Dr. Oshagan leads the innovation and research behind Gap International's Leveraging Genius™ work. Through the study of relationships between language, thinking, and exceptional results, her team creates innovative approaches to powerfully access an organization's best thinking in order to cause extraordinary performance. She is also on the leader team for Building A Breakthrough Executive, Gap International's high-impact executive leadership development program. She has led programs and coached executives in the communications technology and publishing industries.
Prior to joining Gap International in 2000, Dr. Oshagan worked as a systems analyst and then had a career in education as a seasoned mathematics educator, principal and academic affairs vice-principal at schools in the U.S. and Australia. She is fluent in Armenian, is a world traveler, has lived abroad in Sydney and Beirut, and is a choral singer and pianist.
Dr. Oshagan has her A.B. and M.A. degrees in mathematics from Mount Holyoke College and U.C.L.A., respectively and her Ph.D. in Elementary Education with a specialization in mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
