Riley Tate
Since joining Gap International in 1991, Riley Tate has been instrumental
in developing some of the company's most successful products and
programs for executives and large numbers of employees. One initiative
led by Mr. Tate included programs for 6,500 employees of a financial services
company who turned their underperforming business into a world-class operation.
In addition to coaching senior executives at Fortune 500 companies, Mr.
Tate directs Gap International's sophisticated knowledge-management
system, which catalogs and maintains intellectual property authored over
the 25 years of the company.
Prior to joining Gap International, Mr. Tate created and delivered personal
development programs for a national education corporation, where he led
thousands of people through a rigorous outdoor course. Mr. Tate received
a B.A. in sociology from Pennsylvania State University, an M.A. in religion
from the Chicago Theological Seminary and an M.A. in social work from
the University of Chicago.
