Rachel Pines
Rachel Pines leads Gap International's Diagnostics and Measurement Department and the implementation
of a cutting-edge, online diagnostic for client organizations. The Performance Diagnostic™,
whose development Ms. Pines championed over a two-year period, measures the ability of individuals
and teams to produce breakthrough results on a sustainable basis and is giving executives laser-like
direction for improving their organizations' performance.
Ms. Pines, an early advocate of personal coaching to improve business
performance, has partnered with senior executives of FORTUNE and Global
500 companies to produce extraordinary results in such diverse fields
as pharmaceuticals, banking and beverages. She has led numerous large-scale,
multi-year corporate initiatives. Ms. Pines also co-designed the company's
premier executive development program, which has been attended by hundreds
of senior executives.
Prior to joining Gap International in 1994, Ms. Pines was a vice president
of a management consulting company. She also has been a professional pianist
and a vocal coach.
Ms. Pines received a B.A. from Pomona College and an M.M. from the Peabody
Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.
