Ara G. Yeramyan Executive Vice President Dr. Ara Yeramyan leads Gap University for Breakthrough Performance, the company's learning division. Joining Gap International in 1993, Dr. Yeramyan brought with him a rich mix of business experience and academic credentials. He held technical and human resources positions at DuPont Company and was a chemical researcher at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Yeramyan has an M.A. in training and development from St. Joseph's University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Michigan State University. Under his leadership, the Gap University division has applied breakthrough thinking to the field of leadership development. The division has expanded its range of courses to serve every business leader from front-line supervisors on the factory floor to CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. As head of business affairs for Gap International, Dr. Yeramyan oversees the patenting of Gap International's leadership methodologies and other activities critical to the company's growth and development.
